Living in California means we get to be outside enjoying our gardens, year-round. We take pride in helping you grow your gardens responsibly by using organic, low-water and regenerative practices. Regenerative garden design requires a holistic understanding of every part of your environment: climate, slopes, water, geology, soil, vegetation, forestry, land use history, scenic views, aesthetics, and more. Whether you’re interested in converting your landscape into a lush and productive food forest or simply upgrading to a low-water pollinator garden, we’ll assist with proper plant selection, placement, irrigation needs, and ongoing maintenance for long-term success.
Edible landscaping is the use of food-producing plants in your residential landscape. It’s the art of combining plants like fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, and other ornamental plants into an aesthetically pleasing and varied design that enhances your new or existing landscape. We specialize in food gardens and strive for productive harvests throughout the year.
Your outdoor space is an extension of your home, and we take pride in caring for it organically so it’s safe for you, your loved ones, and local ecosystems. Regardless of the style of your home, we create and maintain landscapes that are conducive to the seasonal rainfall and drought conditions in California. We can introduce you to the countless ways to incorporate beautiful and environmentally friendly features into your landscape, including rain gardens, rainwater harvesting, native fescue lawns, formal or informal native hedges, pollinator gardens, and more. Our maintenance team will observe the health of plants, check the status of hardscape areas and irrigation systems, make recommendations for improvements, and take ownership of the ongoing care of the landscape. Our Care Reports are sent to clients after each visit to keep them informed and engaged in the decision process surrounding the success of their gardens.
